Questronix Corporation and IBM proudly unveiled the groundbreaking IBM Power11 on September 5, 2025 at Acacia Hotel Alabang. More than just a regular event, the launch was a glimpse into the future of enterprise IT, showcasing how Power11 is built to empower businesses in the age of AI, hybrid cloud, and quantum-safe security.

The energy in the room was undeniable as Francis Ong, Sales Leader for Power Systems at IBM ASEAN, opened the discussion. During his session Francis captivated the audience by showing how IBM Power11 is not only faster—more imporantly, it’s smarter. He emphasized how enterprises can future-proof their systems to ensure that they are secure and ready for the AI and quantum revolution. 

From there, the conversation moved into the realm of cloud innovation with Wei Chong Lim, Infrastructure Technical Sales Leader for IBM ASEAN. His presentation, “Autonomous IT Built  for AI and Quantum Safe Era” gave attendees a clear vision of how businesses can break barriers between on-prem and cloud environments. Wei Chong’s deep expertise highlighted the fact that not only are hybrid cloud strategies achievable, they are also essential for scaling in today’s fast-paced digital world. 

To give the discussion a local perspective, TG Falsis, AVP for QSD STG at Questronix, delivered a powerful session called “Guarantee Application Availability and Protect Against Data Loss with Assure MIMIX.” TG underscored the importance of resilience, highlighting how organizations can safeguard mission-critical applications while ensuring seamless operations. His message definitely hit home: in an always-on economy, downtime is not an option. 

To cap off the event, Vamsi Mudiam, CTO of Cloud Platform at IBM APAC, expounded the hybrid cloud conversation with his own session on “Achieving Hybrid Cloud using Power Virtual Server.” Bringing a regional and global perspective to the discussion, Vamsi showcased how Power11 is helping enterprises across Asia Pacific modernize faster, stay agile, and embrace a future where cloud and AI work hand in hand. 

The key takeaway from the entire discussion was that IBM Power11 is not just another technology upgrade—it’s a bold step into a future powered by intelligence, resilience, and trust.
