Project EKIH: DICT Launches their very own Agentic AI Platform

The Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) has officially kicked off Project EKIH — the Enterprise Knowledge Intelligence Hub — an enterprise-grade, agentic AI platform designed to transform how government agencies search, retrieve, and act on institutional knowledge.

At its core, EKIH is built to break down information silos. Government agencies sit on vast troves of data — reports, records, policies, databases — often scattered across disconnected systems. EKIH integrates these sources into a unified intelligent layer, giving personnel the ability to query critical information quickly and accurately, without navigating a maze of manual processes. Less time hunting for files. More time acting on them.

A Clear Direction for Philippine Government AI

The launch of EKIH reflects a deliberate and accelerating pattern. The Philippine government is committing to AI not as a pilot experiment, but as core operational infrastructure.  AI is becoming embedded in how government institution's function.

For a country managing complex, multilayered bureaucracy across thousands of government units, this kind of intelligent automation is a force multiplier. Faster access to accurate information means faster decisions, fewer bottlenecks, and a public service that can keep pace with demand.

Project EKIH is just getting started. But its kickoff marks a genuine inflection point in how the Philippine government manages knowledge — and acts on it.
