QNX Team Building 2026: Building Connections Beyond the Workplace

The 2026 QNX Team Building brought together employees from across the organization for two days of relaxation, camaraderie, and meaningful connection last May 15–16, 2026 at San Rafael River Adventure.

More than just a company outing, this year’s team building reflected QNX’s continuing commitment to cultivating a stronger culture of excellence—one built not only on performance and innovation, but also on relationships, collaboration, and shared experiences.

In a message prepared for the event, QNX VP for Corporate Communications Am Balili emphasized the importance of fostering deeper connections within the organization as part of QNX’s evolving culture. Her message reinforced that the company’s pursuit of excellence goes beyond systems, processes, and technology—it is ultimately driven by people working together with trust, respect, and shared purpose.

That same spirit shaped the entire direction of this year’s event.

During the opening remarks, organizers shared that the planning for the team building began as early as January, with the intention of creating an experience that felt less like a “required corporate outing” and more like something employees could genuinely enjoy.

From carefully selecting a venue capable of comfortably accommodating the entire group, to curating activities based on actual employee feedback, every detail was designed with the team’s experience in mind.

This year’s theme heavily emphasized socials, giving employees more freedom to relax, recharge, and interact organically outside of their usual work environment. Team members spent the weekend enjoying music, conversations, recreational activities, and the scenic riverside atmosphere of San Rafael River Adventure.

Of course, the event also featured one of the most anticipated highlights of the weekend: the inaugural QLINARY CLASS WARS—a lighthearted culinary competition that brought out both creativity and team spirit across participating groups.

The program concluded with a reminder that organizations grow stronger not solely because of operational excellence, but because of the relationships that support them every day.

As QNX continues to evolve and pursue higher standards across the organization, Team Building 2026 served as a meaningful reflection of the culture it aims to build: collaborative, people-centered, and grounded in excellence.
