The typical work environment is often dominated by desk time, calls, emails, and responding to client needs—all of which make achieving and maintaining physical wellness a significant challenge for most employees. Cognizant of this, QNX has taken initiative in revitalizing its workforce, giving priority to holistic well-being.
Held from September to October 2025, the sportsfest was a full month of celebrating vibrant minds, bodies and general wellness. Qlympics 2025 was designed not only to uphold the employees’ physical and mental welfare, but also to foster camaraderie, sportsmanship, and healthy competition amongst peers.
The event featured a plethora of games and activities designed to engage every member of the company, ensuring there was something for every skill set and interest. High intensity basketball and volleyball matches were had, and employees poured their passion and sweat to the next level. For a change of pace, the lineup also included bowling, chess, scrabble, and Jenga, all of which illustrated the players’ mental agility. The company's talent for online competition also shone through as players competed in popular titles like Mobile Legends and Valorant, showcasing their dexterity in electronic games. The real showstopper, however, was the cheer dance competition, which saw highly energetic teams of 10 to 20 members perform vibrantly choreographed routines with upbeat music, coupled with creatively designed costumes. Seeing the 2 teams cheer their hearts out was the ultimate spectacle and was definitely a fitting end to Qlympics 2025.
Needless to say, the 2025 QNX sportsfest was a resounding success. While the Blue Team took home the overall trophy, the atmosphere was full of friendly competition and fun. This only goes to show that at the core of Qlympics 2025, everyone was a winner!
